This is what Verkhovna Rada Chairman and Acting President Oleksandr Turchynov said during a meeting U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden in Kyiv on April 22.Instead of disarmament and liberating administrative buidings, the terrorists took over the building of the Department of Interior in Kramatorsk and took hostage the head of the police.

Speaking about the situation with external aggression, Turchynov said that most Ukrainians were in favor of a single and indivisible Ukraine."The Ukrainians are ready to defend their country against Russian military aggression," he added. Turchynov also said that the country was currently restoring and reforming the entire vertical of executive power adding that particular attention is paid to decentralization of power and providing the regions with greater independence and opportunities to independently appoint their leaders and manage the budget.
