05-11-2007 17:22 Sunflower oil export from Ukraine not to be limited, Ukrainian Economics Minister promises
Ukrainian Economics Minister Anatoliy Kinakh noted that the government is satisfied over Ukraine's retail prices for sunflower oil, which decreased to 8.5-9 UAH per one liter during the recent week (1 USD=5.05UAH).
As far as producers are sticking to the reached agreements with the government on downing retail prices, the sunflower oil export from Ukraine will not be limited, Kinakh promised. According to Chairman of the Anti-Monopoly Committee Oleksiy Kostusev, the price growth for sunflower oil was provoked by the cartel collusion of producers and promised to name them after the investigation is completed. The AMC instituted 22 cases against sunflower oil producers.
