According to the declaration, Ukraine supported the initiative by the USA and Russia regarding principles of maintaining technical cooperation in creating modern safe reactors and facilitation of the access to financial resources of the development of the nuclear industry, Mr Sokolovskyi said, by way of commenting on the declaration. He added that Ukraine stood for securing stability of the commercial nuclear fuel market and guaranteeing access to reliable sources of fuel and nuclear services. The Ukrainian President believes that the offered principles correspond to the national nuclear policies, particularly, in diversification of supply sources and creation of the own production of nuclear fuel. Thus, Bohdan Sokolovskyi stressed, Ukraine was ready to participate in multilateral and bilateral talks with countries, which mean to jointly and transparently develop their nuclear energy industries.
