Foreign Ministry urges international community to objectively assess events in Kyiv
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has urged all international partners of Ukraine to be as objective as possible in assessing the political situation in the country, based solely on reliable and proven facts, and condemn manifestations of extremism by supporting the process of reconciliation.
"Ukraine pays attention to the reaction of the international community to the latest dramatic events in Kyiv. We are calling on all international partners of our country to be as objective as possible in their assessments of the situation and determine their position solely based on reliable and proven facts," reads the document. "A strong condemnation by the international community of all forms of extremism and its solid support for the efforts of the parties to the political process to end hatred and resume negotiations will be of particular importance at this stage," the ministry said.
