"Another six Ukrainian citizens have been evacuated from Syria," the Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department reported on Wednesday.
"They were evacuated to Lebanon and further by a regular Beirut-Kyiv flight. The evacuation was organized by the Ukrainian Embassy in Syria in coordination with the diplomatic representation in Lebanon. The travel costs were covered by the Foreign Ministry. The evacuees were also assisted in passing the border control and customs procedures and further travelling to their homes in Ukraine," the report said. The Foreign Ministry also insistently recommends Ukrainian citizens to refrain from travelling to a number of Egyptian cities, including Cairo, Alexandria, and Taba as well as to Libya, Iraq, Eritrea, Algeria, Mali, Saudi Arabia, the Guinea Republic, Pakistan, and the Central African Republic.
