"Pink Patrol" starts in Ukraine

Today, in the five cities of Ukraine, as part of "Breast Cancer: to Know means to defeat" "Pink Patrol" campaign starts with the participation of the new patrol police. The action involves Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, Chernihiv.

In particular, in the streets of the capital police will hand out a thousand women pink roses - as a reminder to take care of their health and find time to go for consultation to mammologist. Police will also remind men that women's health - a matter of importance for whole family.

Every day in Ukraine breast cancer kills one woman. October 20 will be open door day in all regional cancer dispensaries, traveling mammography equipment will be working  in the regions, volunteers will be handling out informative leaflets.
