In Krivyi Righ a loud explosion thundered in one of the sleeping residential areas. Windows were damaged in plenty of houses. According to preliminary information, a man was holding an explosive device that has detonated.
Near the dead body of the man a grenade "F-1" was found, that probably also belonged to the dead. The grenade was deactivated on-site by experts.
The area around the building where the explosion occurred, is surrounded by police. As specified later in the city Interior Ministry department, the explosion occurred around 3 o'clock at night . The victim wore a Balaclava mask.
