Ukraine, Slovakia sign a memorandum on energy efficiency cooperation

"You support us not only by words and declarations, you support us by specific actions," Yatsenyuk said. He recalled that reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine had been launched last year. "Then many hoped it would fail. But if we had not made that decision together, Ukraine would not have survived winter. Thanks to reverse supplies from Slovakia, we managed to get 11 billion cubic meters of gas. It was a real step to help Ukraine," Yatsenyuk noted. He added that today the two states had signed the memorandum on cooperation in fields of energy efficiency, energy saving, and renewable energy within the framework of energy cooperation.
