European Parliament’s vote on visa-free travel for Ukrainians not postponed until April – EP’s press officer

On Thursday, the date of April 3 appeared on the Parliament’s official website as an indicative date for EU approval of visa-free travel for Ukrainians. However, the date was put there by mistake and will be removed, according to Noyon. “On December 15, the European Parliament voted for the visa suspension mechanism for third countries, thus removing the last obstacle for the visa-free travel. Now, the ratification meeting must be held “in short terms,” Noyon said. She added that the exact date is yet to be determined.
