Over 3 million people affected by conflict in Donbas require state support

The 2017 Ukrainian Humanitarian Response Plan includes 94 projects and envisages assistance to 2.6 million people affected by the conflict in Donbas. This was disclosed by  Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine Neal Walker.The amount of the necessary assistance for the 2017 program is $214 million, of which $127 million is a critical threshold, which is crucial for humanitarian projects.

Under the program, projects will be implemented in the following areas: water supply, sanitation and hygiene, security, health and food, security, housing, education, logistics, coordination and multi-purpose monetary assistance.
