What Ukrainian population think of granting special status to Donbas

Half the population of Ukraine opposes granting special status to Donbass. This is according to a September sociological survey conducted by Razumkov Center. The special status of Donbass is not supported by 50 percent of respondents - mainly in the Western and Central regions, and a relative majority of the inhabitants of the Southern region. 22.7 percent of respondents said "yes". In the eastern regions and controlled by Ukraine part of Donbass percentage of supporters and opponents of the special status is about the same.

The survey was conducted from 9 to 14 September. It involved 2,018 respondents aged 18 years in all regions of Ukraine, except Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The error margin does not exceed 2.3%.
