Soon Lviv and Krakow will host the international festival "Music in old Lviv" (13 - 28 August) and "Music in old Krakow" (15 - 31 August). It will bring together over 100 talented performers from Ukraine and Poland. This year's festival will be held in Lviv under the slogan "Music in the Royal Lviv" and will include programs and locations that reflect the mood of the day.
Concerts will take place in churches, built in princely times, the so-called royal city, particularly in St. Nicholas, St. Onuphrius Churches and John the Baptist church.
Other Lviv major attractions and places of interest will be involved in the festival program. One of the central events of this year's international project will be realization of a joint concert of two Ukrainian bands that combine Eastern and Western Ukraine - Lviv chamber orchestra "Lviv Virtuosos" and Mariupol Municipal Chamber Orchestra "Renaissance."
