Russian soldiers from Syria may be deployed in Donbas – intelligence report

Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry Vadym Skybytskiy said this at the briefing on Friday. Earlier, Senior Director for Human Rights and Human Freedom at the McCain Institute David Kramer said that the withdrawal of the main body of the Russian contingent from Syria could pose a threat of increasing military confrontation in eastern Ukraine as the withdrawn troops could be deployed in the Donbas conflict zone.
