Hug says militants interfere with OSCE mission work

Deputy Chief Monitor of the mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug said this at a press conference in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine. “The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission is still experiencing difficulties in registering certain moments, especially in the areas which are temporarily not controlled by Ukraine. Sometimes we are not provided with access to certain places,” he said. Hug said that a joint centre on monitoring the ceasefire regime helped him to solve problems connected with the work in the area of combat actions. He thanked the Ukrainian and Russian officers who work at this centre.
