On February 15 Ukraine will commemorate combatants who participated in military actions in other states. Traditionally, these days meetings with soldiers-internationalists are held. Today, Afghans met with Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Hroisman. He thanked Afghan war veterans for heroism, noting that many of them are in the East of Ukraine.
Chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Afghanistan Veterans, MP from the BPP Serhiy Kunitsyn said that in the Donbass over 150 Afghans were already killed and hundreds are wounded. The MP called for the establishment of the same benefits for Afghanistan Veterans, Veterans and ATO veterans.
Volodymyr Hroisman said that he instructed the Parliamentary Committee to work out possible solutions to resolve the differences in approaches to support combatants.
