Farmers not satisfied with amendments to Tax Code

Today in some regions farmers blocked traffic on motorways. They demanded from the President to veto amendments to the Tax Code proposed by the Government and adopted by the Parliament, in particular in the matter of excise taxes, agricultural taxation and VAT administration.
Farmers believe these innovations are too sharp that can having a negative impact on agricultural production. In particular, they warn of a huge, in their view, decline in livestock production - 15%, in crop production - by 7%, almost 10% decrease in number of employees in this sphere, and UAH 1,5 million decrease in payroll, emphasize activists .
