“By December 11, we will report before the parliament and the people of Ukraine on the carried out work, we will have [ministry’s staff] by 50% less,” Abromavichus said. He also said that the staff reduction was held in two stages, the last of which would be completed by December 11. “We announced that the first way of reduction – 30%, the second one – 20%. We completed the first one over the first six months,” Abromavichus said. In addition, according to the minister, hundreds of functions, which the ministry is currently in charge of, will be canceled, or they have already been canceled, such as the issue of licenses on nonferrous metal imports. Abromavichus also stressed that administrative services as much as possible should be transferred into online regime, and added that the less the contact between business and officials, the less corruption is.
