Ukraine among high-tech exports leaders in Black Sea region – UNESCO

The report drafters, who included Ukraine in the group of the Black Sea countries together with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Turkey, noted that Ukraine ranked the second on this indicator. In particular, the high-technology exports from Ukraine showed significant growth in the Black Sea region in 2008-2013 - from USD 1.6 billion to USD 2.2 billion or from USD 33.5 to USD 49.3 per capita. Ukraine is inferior only to Turkey (up from USD 1.9 billion to USD 2.6 billion) on the total volume of exports among the countries of the region.  Belarus ranks the first on the volume per capita (the growth from USD 44.1 to USD 82.2).
