Lithuania ready to send more military instructors to Ukraine

The Minister said this to journalists after the official talks with Lithuanian Defense Minister Raimundas Caroblis, the Ministry’s press service informs. Lithuania came to the rescue of Ukraine from the first days of Russian aggression, and our relations now only improve and reach a higher level of cooperation," Poltorak said. The defenсe ministers of the two countries discussed the development of cyber defense and strategic communications cooperation and agreed on joint actions within the framework of the Ukraine-NATO Commission at the ministerial level. "It is necessary to continue cooperation, increase the number of Lithuanian military instructors, who train Ukrainian servicemen, and improve this work. We should also expand international cooperation and exchange of experience in public democratic control over the Armed Forces, the cooperation at the level of special operations forces, cyber security and educational programs," Caroblis said.
