Ukraine, Malaysia sign several agreements

"We think that the agreement on avoidance of double taxation will contribute to these opportunities for business and help intensify our business contacts and attract investors," President Poroshenko said. Thus, according to him, the two countries confirmed the interest in expanding the full range of bilateral relations. President Poroshenko stressed that Ukraine has a lot of interesting projects for cooperation, including joint participation in the implementation of space programmes, supply of Ukrainian food and medicines, and provision of Antonov transport aircrafts for the defence industry. In addition, President Poroshenko said that the sides agreed to accelerate the launch of the Ukraine-Malaysia trade commission. It is planned that the first session of the commission will be held this year. In addition, Ukraine and Malaysia have signed several more agreements – on mutual legal assistance in criminal proceedings, and on extradition of offenders.
