Parliament intends to create DNA database of Ukrainian military

The deputies approved the bill, which proposed to require the state to provide a guaranteed military identification using genetic methods for identifying biological material containing DNA of the person and create such a database. Indeed, during the fighting in the Donbas a large number of our soldiers perished. Due to the nature of injuries caused it often becomes impossible to identify the body . In addition, due to contusions and pain shock wounded soldiers, who are sent to medical institutions can not provide information about themselves and remain unknown. Therefore, such a DNA database is very important, a memorandum to the bill reads.
