In the women's singles second round she beat Taiwan's Su-wei Hsieh 6:4, 6:4 and will next face No.7 seed Ayumi Morita (JPN) to qualify for the tournament's semifinals.
In the doubles, Olha Savchuk and Kathrin Woerle (GER) will today play Italian Alberta Brianti and Maria Elena Camerin.
