31-07-2009 14:14 Ukraine to present tourist tours ahead of UEFA EURO 2012
The State Service of Tourism and Resorts (SSTR) will present in late August 20 thematic excursion tours for guests of UEFA EURO 2012, SSTR First Deputy Head Olha Sokolova announced.
'This is done specially for tourists, who will be able to visit some sights for a short period of time," she said. For example, in Sokolova's words, these could be castle tours, historical excursions etc. On May 13, the UEFA chose Ukraine's Kyiv, and possibly Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv as the cities to host the European football finals in 2012.
