Under the project, the United Nations and the European Commission will contribute USD 400,000 for solving burning problems of Donetsk region residents and USD 100,000 for holding seminars and trainings. According to Donetsk Regional Council official Volodymyr Ishkov, a total of 40 projects are planned to be implemented in 8 districts of the region. The projects are designed to address pragmatic problems relative to water supply, transport communication etc. For its turn, the local authorities undertook obligations to invest USD 360,000 in the project and 5% of the total sum will be collected by the local communities.
