Earlier the company's effective stake in the refinery was 71%. The deal was approved by the TNK-BP Limited board in June 2009.  Its details were regulated by the confidentiality agreement, the company says. In the future, the company is interested in modernization of Ukrainian refining capacities, which will make it possible to increase the effectiveness of oil refining, and meet the demands of this country's economy for high-quality motor fuel. The capacities of the Lysychansk oil refinery allow processing 8 million tons of oil a year.  The refinery operates CJSC LINIK, which is part of TNK-BP Group.
