The level of shadowing of the Ukrainian economy in 2009 grew to 32% of the gross domestic product, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn told the press Wednesday.
He specified that in 2008 this index made 28%. “We state that due to crisis phenomena the shadowing of the Ukrainian economy will increase. This is a concern to us,” the minister said. Danylyshyn informed that that shadowing of the national economy is calculated by four international methods.
