06-07-2009 17:24 Ukraine considers options to get loans to pay for gas pumping into underground gas storages both from Russia and EU
This was aired by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.According to her, Ukraine needs loans to provide for gas pumping into underground gas storages. The credits will be paid back when consumers start to pay for consumed gas during autumn-winter period.
"Both the EU and Russia have already submitted relevant proposals, and we are considering the both options," she said. At the same time she noted that Ukraine will pay for the consumed Russin gas timely as it did earlier.
