06-07-2009 17:02 Party of Regions is trying to give President grounds to dissolve parliament, Speaker says
This was voiced by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn at the conciliatory council of the factions' leaders and heads of the VR committees.
Lytvyn said that the Regions party is doing all possible not to allow the Parliament to work and make it impossible to close its session. Lytvyn noted that in this connection a 30-day term will start to be counted off since the date when the Parliament stops its work which, in line with the Constitutions, is a ground to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada.
