03-07-2009 11:39 Ukraine Audit Chamber starts functioning as OSCE external auditor
The Audit Chamber of Ukraine has got down to functioning as an external auditor of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Audit Chamber press service reported.
On April 30, 2009, a total of 56 OSCE member-countries unanimously supported the decision to choose Ukraine's Audit Chamber as an OSCE external auditor. For the first time in the OSCE history, this post will be taken by an institution representing a former Soviet member-country. Previously, OSCE's external audit was carried out by establishments of Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Great Britain and Norway.
