As he put it, the farmers' general demand from the beginning of the year was UAH 8 billion.  The rates of the loans issued in the field of the agro-industrial complex were lower than in other branches of industry. Shumylo said during the period of crisis phenomena in the economy farmers asked for prolongation of credits worth UAH 11.2 billion, UAH 8.3 billion of which were prolonged. Currently the advances portfolio of business banks in the agriculture is UAH 39 billion.
