01-07-2009 12:10 Shakhtar goes 7th, Dynamo ranks 8th in IFFHS
The Ukrainian UEFA Cup semifinal participants, FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Shakhtar Donetsk, remain in the World TOP10 football clubs based on the latest ranking of the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).
According to the ranking, Shakhtar now goes 7th (6th place a month ago), while Dynamo lost one position to stand 8th (7th place a month ago). Apart from this, the IFFHS involves another four Ukrainian clubs. FC Metalist Kharkiv jumped 43rd to 42nd place. FC Vorskla Poltava ranks 192nd (181st a month ago), FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk improved its standings to go 300th (229th a month ago). FC Tavria Simferopol remains at 346th place. England's Manchester United FC and Spanish FC Barcelona keep leading in the International Football Federation of History & Statistics (IFFHS) ranking.
