At the same time, Ukrainian athlete, Paralympic champion (F11-12) Maksym Veraksa, gained bronze in discus throwing with 13.59 m.
The Ukrainian team now has 72 medals at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games (24 gold, 18 silver, 30 bronze).
