18-03-2008 18:20 Heavily wounded Ukrainian peacekeeper dies in Kosovo
The Ukrainian law-enforcement officer from among the peacekeeping unit of the internal affairs ministry in Kosovo, who was heavily wounded as a result of the March 17 incident, died at hospital today.
Under the latest reports, a total of 20 Ukrainian peacekeeping police officers were injured and are staying at hospital now. As a result of armed clashes in Kosovo's Mitrovica in the morning on March 17, personnel of the Ukrainian interior ministry's special peacekeeping unit sustained numerous injuries.
