03-12-2007 17:37 Ukraine and Russia hold regular round of talks into delimitation of Sea of Azov and Black Sea
The delegations adjusted the middle line in the Sea of Azov. Experts were charged to arrange the line of delimitation of territorial seas, the continental shelf and exclusive economic zones in the Black Sea, depicting them on the map.
The parties discussed some aspects of drafting bilateral agreements, which will regulate the issue of shipping, fishing, marine environment protection and ecological safety in the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea and the Kerch Strait. A protocol was signed on outcomes of the meeting.
