13-11-2007 18:15 Ukraine hails decision of European Parliament to back agreements on readmission and simplified visa regime
As was voiced by Deputy Chief of the Presidential Secretariat Oleksandr Chalyi, the Presidential Secretariat hails this decision. He also hoped that the VR of the 6th convocation will ratify the relevant agreements ASAP and will create all the grounds to exchange the ratified documents.
The agreement on simplified visa regime envisages setting fixed customs due of 35 EUR and free of charge visas to some categories of Ukrainians as well as fixed terms of visa issuance. Besides, in case of refusal, the embassy will be commissioned to reason the refusal. The agreement is unvalid in the UK, Denmark and Ireland.
