26-10-2007 18:24 Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Viktor Chernomyrdin does not see any grounds for Ukraine's accession to NATO
He says if such a decision is approved by the Ukrainian leadership, the bilateral relations of the neighbouring countries are likely to change. This was disclosed by the Russian Ambassador during a hot telephone line with the readers of "Komsomolskaya pravda in Ukraine".
At the same time Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Viktor Chernomyrdin noted that Ukraine is a sovereign state and it can take any political decision. Yet in case its accedence to the NATO is realized, Russia will sure make adequate conclusions.
