The "Our Ukraine" faction's statement qualifies the Verkhovna Rada leadership's stand as an example of political blackmail and licentiousness.
We are convinced that the candidate for the Head of Government must be a consolidating non-conflict figure. Yet, now a confrontational scenario is being imposed on Ukraine. Proceeding from this, the "Our Ukraine" will use all available constitutional means to defend the popularly elected President and prevent power from being usurped by the parliament's leadership, the statement further says.
