This was confirmed by Prime Minister by way of speaking at the Verkhovna Rada today. According Yuriy Yekhanurov, Ukraine and Russia on the Govt level are negotiating on changing RosUkrEnergo with another mediator for gas supplies to Ukraine
The Ukrainian Head of Government said was going to send a letter to his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov with a proposal to change the mediator, if it didn't suit the Russian side. According to Prime Minister, next week negotiations between Ukraine and Russia on gas issues may be held. He promised to take into consideration all the constructive proposals by the Verkhovna Rada during the negotiations.
