07-07-2010 18:15 Ukrainians have less confidence in politicians and government institutions
This is what the reaults of the poll of the Omnibus national monthly survey say conducted by TNS Ukraine on June 3-10.
The level of Ukrainians' trust in most politicians and government institutions in June 2010 has declined compared with the figures recorded in May 2010. Trust in almost all politicians declined last month. As of June 2010, the highest positive index of confidence in politicians was observed with respect to Strong Ukraine party leader Serhiy Tihipko (0.43), Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych (0.34) and Prime Minister Mykola Azarov (0.09), while other politicians had a negative confidence index. Third Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has remained the leader of anti-rating for over a year. Tymoshenko's confidence index slightly rose by 0.08, although it still remains at a rather low level (0.98).
