12-03-2010 15:44 Ukrainian young athletes set world record at European Championships 2010 Air Weapon in Norway
Ukrainian Denys Kushnirov, Kyrylo Soyko and Yuriy Popruzhnyi have won the golden medals in 10m Air Pistol Men Junior at the European Championships 2010 Air Weapon in Meraker, Norway.
They scored 1,729 points to be a new European record. One more gold for Ukraine went to Ihor Matskevych in 10m Running Target Mixed Men Junior. In team classification, Ihor Matskevych along with Ukrainian Oleh Salamakha and Dmytro Chausov became the bronze winners with 1,078 points. The Ukrainian team now has 6 medals (3 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze).
