The National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine plans to cut down gas production in 2010 against 2009 by 0.5 billion cu m (2.6%) tо 18.847 billion cu m, Naftogaz CEO Yaroslav Marchuk told a meeting of the Fuel and Energy Ministry.
In particular, he informed that the Ukrgazdobuvannia gas production in 2010 is expected at 14.75 billion cu m, the Ukrnafta - about 2.6 billion cu m, the Chornomornaftogaz - 1.1 billion cu m. Marchuk also informed that in 2010, the NJSC's enterprises plan to bore 230,700 meters of exploratory holes, at the same time exploitation boring is expected at the level of 175,000 meters.
