04-02-2010 16:21 EU to inspect Ukraine's poultry producers
The European Commission's Directorate General for Health and Consumer Protection (DG SANCO) announced plans to inspect Ukraine's poultry producers, the State Veterinary Medicine Committee has reported.
Experts with DG SANCO already inspected Ukraine's poultry enterprises in June 2009 with a view to the right to deliver Ukrainian goods to European markets. After the inspection the European Commission said it sees Ukraine's poultry control system as being in conflict with European standards.
