02-02-2010 16:40 UEFA President's visit to Ukraine postponed
According to Head of the UEFA EURO 2012 Local Organizing Committee in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky,a working visit of UEFA President Michel Platini to Ukraine has been postponed due to unstable weather conditions and anticipated deterioration of weather in Easter Europe.
He also added that the visit, initially scheduled for February 4-5, will take place in spring. The final dates will be confirmed later.
Lubkivsky also expressed hopes that the co-host cities (Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Kharkiv) will use time efficiently until the UEFA delegation's visit showing a significant progress in preparations for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship.
