02-02-2010 16:02 Viktor Yanukovych considers low turnout as his biggest risk in run-off voting
Ukrainian presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovych expressed this fear during a press conference in his native town of Yenakieve in Donetsk region on February 2. "I believe our biggest risk is if our voters decide we have already won," he noted.
Yanukovych called on all of his supporters to come to the polls on February 7 and guarantee victory of the opposition. The Party of Regions' leader also said that their parliamentary faction demands an extraordinary Rada meeting on February 3 to adopt final amendments to the Presidential Election Law and thus prevent rigging and frustration.
