The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has reorganized Ukraine's state gas company Naftogaz from a state company into a public joint-stock company, according to a government resolution.
The government amended the regulations of the company, increasing its statutory fund by UAH 18.6 billion to UAH 24.165 billion (UAH 7.97 / USD 1). Naftogaz is Ukraine's monopolist on oil and gas transportation via transit oil and gas pipelines, as well as the country's largest gas producer.
