This was disclosed by the president's aide Ihor Popov who said that Head of the State is calling on the parliament to amend the law on the election of president during the final plenary sessions.
He noted that Yushchenko calls on to make 'at least basic amendments' to the law, as he believes that the current instrument gives go-ahead to election fraud.
