26-11-2009 17:11 Dollar settles below 8 UAH/USD on interbank
Hryvnia strengthening tendency continued at the Ukrainian interbank currency market biddings. Thus, the US dollar quotations fell down to 7.9790-7.9980 UAH/USD, and the euro quotations to 12.0203-12.0490 UAH/EUR.
The November 25 biddings also closed with currency quotations down to 7.9935-8.0030 UAH/USD, and 12.0435-12.0615 UAH/EUR. The National Bank sold at a special auction USD 19.150 million at 8.05 UAH/USD. The National Bank of Ukraine raised for Wednesday the official hryvnia on the dollar to 7.985 UAH/USD, and brought it down against the euro to 12.043776 UAH/EUR.
