30-10-2009 14:13 Ukrtelecom reduces net loss by 1.6 times
Ukrtelecom reduced its net loss by 1.6 times in the first nine months of 2009, from UAH 313.149 million to UAH 194.814 million (UAH 7.998 / USD 1), the company said in a report posted on the website of the State Commission of Ukraine on Securities and Stock Market.
The company's net profit grew over the period from UAH 4.876 billion to UAH 4.967 billion, proceeds from sales rose from UAH 5.789 billion to UAH 5.868 billion, while the prime cost of sales dropped from UAH 4.182 billion to UAH 3.865 billion. Ukrtelecom is Ukraine's largest land-line phone operator.
