Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a bill into law to introduce a 75% quota for Ukrainian-language content on television channels, according to the presidential press service.
TV towers will be built in Bakhmutovka and Pokrovsk until the end of 2017, which will promote broadcasting Ukrainian channels in Donbas, State Secretary of the Information Policy Ministry Artem Bidenko said in a TV interview.
The telecommunication tower has been officially opened on the administrative border with Crimea in Kherson region.
