Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman hopes that the Parliament will approve the implementation of the pension reform during the current session, which will last until July 15.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft law that allows implementing a reform of the pension system in Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that such decision was made at the Government’s meeting on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.
The mission of the International Monetary Fund will visit Ukraine on May 16 to agree on the pension reform. Head of the Social Policy Ministry of Ukraine Andriy Reva said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
The pension reform, which is being elaborated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, does not provide for raising the retirement age. This was again stressed by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko, the Governmental website reports.
